This very beautiful Victorian necklace is set with lovely pink Paste stones, Circa 1900
Set in sterling Silver and gilded in 18ct yellow Gold.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones because it has relatively high indices of refraction and strong dispersion, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass pastes.
Each paste stone is Emerald cut
This would be perfect for a wedding or special occasion, it looks lovely when worn!
